Temperature Requirements
High ImpactStandard reefer rates apply for typical temperature ranges. Frozen freight (-10°F to 0°F) and deep freeze (below -10°F) may command slight premiums due to fuel consumption.
Reefer Fuel Costs
Medium ImpactThe refrigeration unit runs on diesel, adding to operating costs. This is built into the base rate but fluctuates with fuel prices.
Seasonal Demand
Medium ImpactProduce season (spring/summer) increases reefer demand and rates. Holiday seasons also see higher demand for food distribution.
Extra Stops
